If you wish to be considered as a Food or Merchandise Vendor for the 2008 GROOVEFEST AMERICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL Email us at GROOVEFEST@GROOVACIOUS.com telling us what you plan to sell. Be sure to include your mailing address so we can send you an application. Emailing us does not approve you as a vendor. Upon approval you will be notified with further instructions. You must be approved to be part of GROOVEFEST. Those expecting to set-up the day of the festival without prior approval will be asked to leave at their own expense - no exceptions!
Groovefest is refining it’s look and we are very interested in vendors that offer their own creations and handicrafts. |

- FOOD BOOTHS: $155.00 for both days - - ART & CRAFT BOOTHS: $85.00 for both days -
YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS!! No exceptions!! -Booth space provided are 10’ X 10’. You are required to bring your own set-up materials including canopy, tables and chairs, etc. Nothing is provided, you cannot use park benches as part of your booth. There is limited electricity in the park.
- Set-up time is Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. unless previously arranged. Set-up should be completed no later than 10:00 a.m. You are asked to remain set-up until the end of the festival Saturday evening approximately 11:00 p.m.
-You must have an Iron County Temporary Business License specific to this event on this day held in the city park. The cost for a license is $5.00. We will pay this fee from your booth fee and fill out the necessary paperwork on your behave with the city.
-You are responsible for reporting your sales total and calculating your sales tax and mailing your tax payment to the Utah State Tax Commission. Tax forms will be given to you either the day of the festival or before.
-Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. No space is guaranteed!
NO weapons or alcohol are allowed at GROOVEFEST. You will not be approved if you plan to sell either of these items!
Be aware that it can be extremely hot this time of year in Cedar City, not all spaces are shaded all day as the sun is moving west continually. The heat and oppressive heat can be uncomfortable, bring plenty of drinking water and shade and a cart to move your merchandise more easily. |
